Mark and Joe have been writing and telling stories together for the last 25 years.

All opinions and views expressed here are my own. Note: I received a review copy of this book from the authors. I think the ending is more devastating than that of the first book and it just makes you want to know more about Roan and Kay’s story. It’s a bit more action-packed and intense. It’s as interesting, exciting and emotional. Both are dealing with their own fears of what they may become in the future.įaith and Moonlight 2 is a great follow-up to the first book. Roan is realizing just how important it is to succeed in the Grand Tournament years from now and Kay is still struggling with what she has done to stay in the school. It seems that for both of them it’s getting harder and harder to navigate through everything – their lives at the school, their training, their friendship. Roan and Kay’s story is becoming more intense, more exciting and more heartbreaking. Then one day, Kay’s loses control of her hidden power and it brings serious consequences, including potentially destroying what’s left of her friendship with Roan. Roan and Kay’s friendship becomes strained, especially since one of Roan’s Royal friends has a habit of tormenting Kay and her friends at every opportunity. Roan feels the pressure to succeed and Kay feels alone more than ever even though she has her own set of supportive friends. Roan with his natural talent and strength is spending most of his time with Gideon and the Royals, a group known for their skills and cruelty, while Kay struggles with her own growing power, a power that somehow doesn’t feel right. In the second instalment of Faith and Moonlight, we see how much things have changed for Roan and Kay since their acceptance into the school for Razors.
